Hello
We have a Cisco MDS-9124 FC Fibre Switch and some 3th-pard SFP Transceiver.
The MDS now show that these SFP Transceivers are unsupported an the port shows as failed.
I found in Google that there should be a hidden command line interface command that enables support for these transceivers, called:
service unsupported-transceiver
But on my system, this command is not working, unknown command.
The OS running on the Appliance is a SAN-OS 3.3
How we can add the support for non-cisco SFP Transceivers on this system?
Thanks you very much for any help

The latest release 3.3.5b is dated April 2011 !
There exists also a EOL announcement (not for Support !)
Could well be, that it is a Version issue; I think you have no other choice: Cisco Transceiver !
