Hardware Redundancy in the MDS9506 are items such as:
1) Power Supply
2) Supervisors which include Crossbar Fabric & CPU
3) Dual internal paths for communication
These are also part of the High Avalibility features that would be used in design and configuration, such as:
VRRP for IPS, Port Channels, VSAN's
Call Home would be considered a Pro Active software feature, giving the user fast warning of a issue from the network that was not management pulled. It is not considered in the Redundancy category.
