Sinewave battery backup or NOT

I was wondering if anyone knew if Cisco recommended Sinewave battery backups for Catalyst switches or does it not matter?

 - UPS solutions will depend on the critical need of infrastructure related to business, usually it is applied in the data center and can invoke network equipment  too ,
