Storage Lab Scheduling

Good evening everyone,

I am trying to schedule my Storage Lab, however each time I log onto the scheduling tool I am told that no lab dates are available.

Is anyone else having this problem?

That sounds like doing everything that you want to do but are not allowed to do in a production environment without lots of (sometimes heated) discussion with the provisioning team.

I just love challenges.

g'day Stephen,

I'm just about geared up to start studying myself and nearly got all of the lab setup.

If you are keen, i could use a study partner!

:)

Sounds good to me.

My only problem is not having any stuff at work to play with and I am still working on that. If all goes well, it still will be sometime in the next financial year before I get any hardware. Mind you Cisco are willing to loan me some stuff but that depends on my boss.

Its a pity that there are no simulators around. I remember playing with an IOS simulator some time ago.

Count me in.

Stephen

I agree, it would be great if Dynamips support the MDS platform. However with the relatively low numbers of us storage nerds out there, I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

Actually after playing the SAN Rover game on:

I don't have any need to learn any more.. But on a serious note.. has anyone got that FICON lab simulator to work? A new page opens and nothing happens. I have done everything I can possibly think to get it to work to no avail.

Our mainframe manager was discussing all sorts of FICON connectivity that went straight over my head and the lab looked like it would be most valuable.

Cheers

Stephen

I had the same problem on the FICON lab simulator, after I downgraded the Macromedia Flash player to version 6 in IE, it worked.

Thanks for the tip. I will try that.
