Hello,
I have a customer that has a Hitachi array, trying to connect via iSCSI through a 3850 to their server. If they use Twinax throughout (SFP-10GBase-CX1) the connection is good (or at least "works") but the HDS array complains about the SFP being incompatible, can't clear the error unless replaced with OEM part. The Incompatibility part I expected.
If the customer replaces the SFP @ the HDS end with the OEM Finisar and runs MMF between that and the 3850, now with SFP-10GBase-LRM, but retains Twinax between their server and switch, can't get a valid link.
I suspect this is a configuration issue but not really Cisco Savy.
Any help please?
Thanks.
