Hello. We are running some validation assessments with 2802I access points for a clean environment, but we could not find any information regarding the material composition of these devices. Precisely its external cover.
Does anyone have a idea?

Hello
The plastic material used on the AP 2800 and AP 3800 series is Lexan 945. This material was tested for clean room use with a Steris chemical, trademark name SPOR-KLENZ. Hi,
I have a similar question about the type of polycarbonate plastic used with the Catalyst 9163E Outdoor Access Point?
Is it the same type of plastic as used on the 2800, albeit a different colour, or different?
The reason I am asking is due to avoiding any plastic on our access points due to fire regulations. If I have the detail on the plastic then we can avoid the costs of burn testing and destroying multiple APs.
Thanks
Kenny
