Fun Friday: Solar Eclipse

Tomorrow (14 Oct 2024), an annular solar eclipse can be seen through parts of the United States, Mexico, and many countries in South and Central America. An annular solar eclipse differs from a total solar eclipse in that the moon doesn't block the entirety of the sun due to its current orbit state. However, the daylight does dim, and a "Ring of Fire" becomes visible, which is the Sun's outer edges forming a bright ring around the dark disk of the Moon.

If you're fortunate to be on the path of the eclipse, you're in for a great display of astronomic splendor. Just make sure to take precautions when viewing. If you can take pictures of the event, post them here and let folks know about your experience.
