Hello Cisco Community,
we installed the Cisco Secure Client on our clients. For automatic updates the client starts "VPNDOWNLOADER.EXE" in the background, which was blocked by AppLocker. After creating a policy to allow the execution, the update shows the following window:
Is there a way to supress this window?

Hi Leonardo,
There's another thread about this window: https://community.cisco.com/t5/vpn/cisco-secure-client-downloader-notification-popup-disable/m-p/5310107#M299397
I've heard back from support too, and there's no way to disable this pop-up at the moment. You can avoid it by disabling the auto-update and manually pushing the updates from your MDM. It's not ideal. I've been told there's a feature request that was put in for it but I haven't followed up on it yet.

Hello Andrew,
in Support Case 699551166 I requested the technician to create a feature request for this feature and he confirmed.

The way to suppress this is by switching to Cisco Secure Client Management (at no charge). It utilizes a modern update mechanism that supports silent updates.

@adamwin How do we get started with Cisco Secure Client Management? Is this something that can be done by ourselves or does it require a support ticket?

If you are entitled already you can get to it via security.cisco.com -- otherwise open a TAC ticket to get it enabled.

Do we have to switch to Secure Access to be able to use Cisco Secure Client Management?
