So, that tells me that there is no way to have multiple authorizations use different escalation paths? For example, if one authorization has a 1 hour escalation and another one has 3 hours before escalating?

You could do a javascript call to some web services that were designed to do this.You could create an Agent that uses the SQL Adapter to make the update and set that as one of the steps in the plan.

The order won't be saved if you use Javascript to redirect the user, since they are not actually completing the order.
