not able to ping from my windows server 2012 r2 to systems in LAN but opposite is pinging

I have got an hp server having windows server 2012 r2 OS, IP 192.168.0.60 and when i connect it to an Windows 8 OS IP-192.168.0.50 through LAN cable,no DHCP no gateway, ping is successful from system to the server but from server to system it fails, ...
