I have a problem with a 1760-v 12.3(8)T router using a 4 port FXS/DID card with the ports in DID wink start mode. Calls made to the DID ports do not receive any digits (both debug voice ccapi inout and debug vtsp all show no digits being collected a...
I have an interesting situation with a 1760 router running 4 FXO ports using H323 connecting to a call manager 3.3(3). The FXO trunks work perfectly with both incoming and outgoing calls. The customer has recently moved and broken away from a large...
We have a 3725 router running 2 ISDN PRI's. Today one of the PRI lost its registration with the CM. A trace on the CM stated that the PID was NULL on the DS1 that lost its registration. Anyone have a clue why that would occur and why the other PRI...

Is this a connection to analog phone lines through a gateway? If so we had this exact problem and it ended up being a problem with the phone lines, the DB level was to low for the FXO card to keep a call connected, telco had to turn up the gain on th...
I might be on the wrong track here but for a VLAN to become active you either need a switchport configured to access the vlan without trunking:int fast0/1 switchport mode access switchport access vlan 2 (your voice vlan)but since you usually want a...
I would also use RTP header compression if you are going to make the payload 10ms as the compression will almost eliminate the additional overhead induced by doubling the number of packets. Of course I would use RTP header compression anyway heh.
Not sure about Euro but in the US you occasionally run into this with loopstart lines, its called glare. If someone is calling in at the exact time that the router tries to dialout on a port you happen to answer the call by accident. Groundstart li...
