idk whats happening... i configured f0/3 of S5 as a trunk port and same for S2 but after that f0/2 turns orange also no traffic is flowing from that port.

Thanks Martin for your solution... I think I've to accept the fact that changing STP port cost affects EtherChannel state.

I think I know the answer now . It was all due to STP(Spanning Tree Protocol) to prevent looping of frames in the topology.
