Why the port f0/2 turns orange as soon as I connect S2 and S5??

idk whats happening... i configured f0/3 of S5 as a trunk port and same for S2 but after that f0/2 turns orange also no traffic is flowing from that port.

I think I know the answer now . It was all due to STP(Spanning Tree Protocol) to prevent looping of frames in the topology.

You can attach PT file here in a zip format; It could be PT being a sim and misbehaving; save, close and re-open it.  Also,  I think VTP is not working in PT as it does in real switches and could be making troubles here.

I tried re-opening it but it happens every time. Here's the .pkt file.. please check in your system.
