Can someone explain me what are the layer 2 issues that can cause problems in a small-office home-office (SOHO) network. It will be really helpful if you can put references too.
Can you please put some references to STP loops, Cause I couldn't find any proper information on that. Because as per my knowledge STP is there to prevent loops, so it is bit confusion for me on how STP loops do happen.

As per my knowledge word size is something has to do with processing data. But why the NIC identifies frames that has odd number of bytes (octets), as frames with alignment errors?
