Can someone explain me what are the layer 2 issues that can cause problems in a small-office home-office (SOHO) network. It will be really helpful if you can put references too.

 - You have been asking a series of questions including this one , which relate to networking knowledge. This place deals with practical and or 'live' ongoing technical problems for users. Have a glance at https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/

                          for instance.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Thank you for recommending me another community to get knowledge which is very helpful. But I have gained much knowledge from this community from their questions because when I search something on google this site comes if a same kind of question has been asked no matter whether it is related to technical problem or knowledge related. So it is better if you could answer the question as well then if someone else has the same question they can get the answer which is very helpful to them as well.

You could experience different issues regarding your L2, stp loops, unidirectional link errors, broadcast/unicast/multicast (BUM) storms But significantly security breaches hence the reason why there are specific L2 security features and best practices that can be implemented

Please rate and mark as an accepted solution if you have found any of the information provided useful.
This then could assist others on these forums to find a valuable answer and broadens the community’s global network.

Can you please put some references to STP loops, Cause I couldn't find any proper information on that. Because as per my knowledge STP is there to prevent loops, so it is bit confusion for me on how STP loops do happen.
