I have a WAP571 with the embedded wireless controller. I want to add a new Wireless Access Point (WAP). I want to know if I can add an Cisco Catalyst 9117AXI-B Wireless Access Point that doesn't have the embedded wireless controller to the WAP571?
I received the email below from CISCO Support on my issue; Currently 571 with embedded wireless controller compatibility with 9117AP Wifi 6 is not an option. The 9800 Wireless controller is what we offer in terms of controlling this AP. /r Trevor
