I have a dead 1832 Access Point, from a lightning strike. Is it possible to just replace the power supply?;)

Hi. I have an 861 with a wireless sub module. Is it possible to set this up as a simple access point, disregarding the router?;) Any pointers as to how i can do this?

I see that this AP is retired, but how can I find the manual for this device? I'm trying to reset it, but failing;)

, but where does it break? Is the AP not allowed to talk to another DHCP Server on the network?
