I have 2 Cisco AP 3502, I use my wlan client to connect to the AP and do below test:
a) Set the AP working on IEEE 802.11a, the data rate set to 6 Mbps.
b) use 'iw' command to check the data rate in my wlan client, the data rate display 24 Mbps.
