PeterYou are right..this must have been some fluke because I did what you suggested and the SRTT dropped down to 1 ms in the cases where it had been 1597 ms. Thanks.Richard
Thanks to everyone for your comments. Unfortunately, I was not consulted in advance of this purchase. However, I will be working on trying to impose some kind of logical design on this project.
I would be surprised if it is hardware related. My guess is the 4500 BU does not want to incur the cost of porting the latest IOS version to the Sup V. Maybe they already know the EOL date for the Sup V.
