I have a couple of ideas for some API development, that I'd love to fiddle with, however they tend to require a bunch of devices. One solution would be to wait and see if a large order is placed and use that, but I suppose I'd have better chances in ...
I see that there has already been a few post on this here and here. Just recently, I have also been granted RO access to an Organization with an API Source IP restriction. When trying to get organizations IDs for specific orgs (not including this), I...
HeyI've been trying to lab a couple of things today, one of them being Wireless Trusted Access. Since Meraki now supports Entra ID integration, it's possible to use Entra and IdP for the Wireless Trusted Access. After working through a combination of ...
So it seems Cisco is pushing the button and making Access Manager GA. It's going really fast now, as this was just published yesterday, but also it seams rather silent.Cisco Access Manager is available in Early Access and General Availability (GA) on...

Imo disable Band Steering. I'd rather let the client select the best band. Instead, perhaps lower TX power on 2.4 GHz, so make 2.4 less favorable. I would also avoid using WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode, as I've noticed some odd behaviour with transition mode....
What if you select WPA3 Only? Historically, WPA2/WPA3 Mixed mode has been somewhat "funky". Also, what does the client-mass look like? Is it primarily older devices or newer? And by newer I mean, within the last 1 or 2 years?
Correct, but it is not an option that can be applied to a Meraki MX. Any other Cisco firewall, perhaps, but not a Meraki MX. It does not support ACLs on the WAN interface.
I think it is interesting that this is a known behaviour - it is not something that I have come across before.
Adding an ACL to Uplink port of an MX is not possible, as this is not supported. There is no possibility to add an ACL to these ports. Only...
When the MX is in Passthrough mode, I seem to recall that all other LAN ports on the device will be disabled, and it's only the Uplink port that's in use.
So during boot, if the device should momentarily enter passthrough mode, before going to route...
