If you are at the Switch: prompt because of this error and you have not cleaned up your old IOS file system files from flash then boot from the packages.001-f file that is in flash and this will load the previous iOS . 

3702E will not register to WLC 5508 with code version 8.2.100

AIR-CAP3702E-A-K9  will not register to WLC 5508 with code version 8.2.100 currently. I keep on getting below message when consoled into the AP.  %CAPWAP-3-DHCP_RENEW: Could not discover WLC. Either IP address is not assigned or assigned IP is wrong...
