We have a CME with 4 analog POTS lines (for FAX, speaker phone, etc). Can someone please give me the command to enter so that we can assign a name for each of these analog ports which will appear on the internal extensions for my users?
I want to deploye the new 7960G and 7940G phones but need to confirm my CME v3.3 with app load P00307020200 for the 79x0 phones will work. Anyone have this setup now working?
I entered the command you suggested under the serial interface (where the type of switch is specificed) and no luck. Still just passes the phone number.
aapedraza,I have a CME v4 running 12.4(4)XC1 and we are not able to display the name on the phones. Is there a config change needed to get this to work?
