We have the following setup for a pilot Videoconferencing project running over the WAN. The video quality in general is not satisfactory. 1) Tandberg 880MXP registering to local gatekeeper. Another Tandberg 770MXP registering to the above gatekeeper....

We have tested calls between SCCP clients and Tandberg units. There could be multiple ways of doing this but we have implemented it as belowVTA --> Callmanager ---> H323 gatekeeper ---> tandberg unitThen link between Callmanager and the H323 gatekeep...

If you have a endpoint with inbuilt MCU capability like, a tandberg 3000mxp or so, and your multipoint conferencing needs are basic, then yes the endpoints alone will suffice. In the above case you might be able to have 3-4 simultaneous users in one ...
