4900m IOS upgrade from 12.2(54)SG to 15.1(2)SG7

I was not able to find any documentation that referenced upgrading the IOS in steps. I did find documentation that requires the ROMMON to be at 12.2(44r)SG5 which is what I have. So will I run into problems if I upgrade straight from 12 to 15?
