Hello, We would like to know the period of off-channel scanning while the AP is in local mode and WIPS sub-mode (ELM). Also how long does the AP scans each channel We'd like to know if using ELM has any effect on the connected clients' traffic throughput. I searched some documents but I could not find an answer. Hello, Is it possible to create EoIP tunnels to two different Anchor Controllers on two different DMZs from a single WLC. So we can tunnel the traffics of two SSIDs to different DMZ environments. Anchor Controllers can create 71 connections to Foreign Controllers, but can Foreign Controllers create EoIP tunnels to more than 1 Anchors. Regards, Sinan

Hi guys, thank you all for the help. I was always trying to broadcast one of the SSIDs but the non-broadcasted one could not be associated. When I configured both SSIDs hidden, I can associate with both SSIDs and get an IP address from the same subnet. Using both SSIDs hiddes won't be a problem for us, so we sill proceed this way. Hi, We are trying to work our wireless Apple devices with our Wired Apple TV system. Apple TV is connected to a layer 2 switch as an access port and our 5508 WLC's are connected to another Layer 2 switch with a trunk port. And the two switches are connected to each other. Wired Apple TV and Wireless Apple clients are all in the same vlan. I enabled broadcast forwarding / global multicast / IGMP snooping on the controllers, disabled P2P blocking, checked the data rates (9Mbps for the only mandatory data rate). However although the clients can ping the Apple TV IP address it cannot discover it automatically. When we plug an Apple laptop on the switch it can discover the Apple TV, however when the client is connected via wireless it cannot discover. What can be the reason, is there anybody who had this issue and solved? Thanks Sinan

Hi, I was looking into Cisco ISE solution for deploying NAC. I have a question about the network topology. In the user guide documents of cisco ISE, it is written that for Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and VPN devices, an additional server, Inline Posture, is needed. However, in the following integration document, there is not an inline posture between WLC and Cisco ISE server. https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-18121 I want to know if Inline Posture is a requirement, if not a requirement, what are the benefits of having it between Cisco ISE Server and WLC. Hi all, I used to use SSM version 1.3 and it refreshed the data on its graphs once in 30 minutes. After I upgraded the SSM to version 8.5, now it refreshes the graphs once an hour. Is there a way to change this polling frequency of the SSM to Operations Manager? Thanks & Regards, Sinan

Ok, we solved the issue. Somehow the calling number info is not sent out and the call is dropped at the exchange office of the Telcom. We created a translation profile and applied it to the voice-port, which solved the problem.
