Have a pretty simple, MX75 with two MS125 switches.. Trunks from MX to each switch. STP Root is SW1. SW2 event log shows static STP but SW1 looks like it is taking ports up and down. Am thinking of just disabling STP as can't imagine why this is happ...
I've got the following config on my MX75 & MS125s .. these are SW1 and SW2 (VLAN1 is not used for any clients)MX75 P4 - Trunk - to SW1 P1 allowing VLAN 1, 10, 20, 30MX75 P5 - Trunk - to SW2 P1 allowing VLAN 1, 40, 50If I look on the Switch s...
I only got my MX75 a few weeks ago, but just noticed it is using V16 BETA firmware. I have the NO BETA option checked for all devices. The last non-beta version is V15. When a non-beta V16 comes out, will my MX75 install that? Or will it auto-contin...

yes.. just checked it out.. the portal works much better on my Mac/Safari browser. I also really like the DeWarp option on one of our fisheye cameras.. nice
From the replies, it seems like this is normal STP behavior. I was worried that the Spanning Tree algorithm was actually disabling and enabling ports.. but it is responding to the ports going into a power-save mode and shutting down or lowering from ...
It looks like there might be small bug in the MS 125 s/w. Sw1 should not be able to see SW2 as a direct client and not at an address 1.1.1.1. The reporting client list tends to change as I flip between the status pages. Also, I'd expect SW1 to see 3 ...
The MX Port that feeds SW1 is shown below to the left. This port carries VLANS 10, 20, 30. VLAN1 is the native for both the MX and Switches.. it was the default and I did not alter it. The Port 1 uplink of SW1 is shown to right and below. Every port ...
