Hi @Kasun Bandara It is normal internal model. It turns out that EWC 9800 does not support x700 AP generation at all in any version. I misread support matrix for 9800 CL as applying for EWC as well.

I'll answer my own question.Grrr, 3700 are supported on C9800 17.9.6 EXCEPT in the case of EWC. See https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html#c9800-embed-ctr-ap_support
