So, I'm running FreePBX v17 with Asterisk v20.18.0 with the UCM patch, and after some time after having had the system running and the config files changed (the custom ones), I'm finding that my CP-7965G is either erroring enough to where BLF quits w...
Hello once more, I'm looking to make a custom ringtone for my Cisco 79xx series phones (namely my 7965, but I want both of them to be able to recognize it), I know these are EOL, but hear me out; I also know that Cisco officially states that the ring...
As the title says, I have a used 7941G that survived a few power cycles, but a day later after powering it up, the display no longer functions. I'm powering it via PoE (if that's relevant), and it seems to be just going through the normal operations,...
No, seriously, I don't know what to call it! I have this strange ringer audio issue where it's... like... Stuttering? Choppy? Fluctuating in volume? Something? It's just weird, that's the best way I can describe it. Course, I'll let YOU be the judge ...
Pretty sure an individual like myself shouldn't be here, but here I am anyway... I'll be quick about this:Looking to get an old bit of software called "Cisco Phone Designer", to do one thing and one thing only; create a longer ringtone for the Cisco ...
Figured it out; and I shall share my findings with anyone else who is struggling to do something similar:The length of the file listed in the documentation is more-or-less incorrect because 16080 samples is a VERY short time, especially in Audacity.....
Yes, but I also mention how I've seen instances of the 79xx series phones accepting longer than 16080 samples ring files. I'm asking how I can achieve this myself
That would be a negative, the display doesn't tilt, I don't think the 79xx series had displays that could tilt. As for the ribbon cable, it's likely it's broken, I tried re-seating it, to see if that would work, but to no avail
Alright, cool, good to know that nobody's willing to render any ACTUAL assistance, so I'll just mark this post as the solution and just live with the stuttering, and NO, IT IS NOT MY COMPUTER! ELSE IT'D BE HAPPENING EVERYWHERE ON EVERY PROGRAM I RUN!...
