Could be a problem related to wireless interference. You could check then administration web page to see if the firmware upgrade went well. Also the wireless statistics might show some hints of what the problem is.
The problem seems to come down to the end device. In this case android. It could be a network setting on device or browser app compatibility.Another test would be if device works froma different Internet connectivity.
