Yes I did, I had to upgrade the Boot ROM. I don't recall the version at the moment, but I found it on eBay for $10. I installed the chip, and the router booted without a problem and has been working since.
Good afternoon,2960 is a layer 2 switch only, you would need 2 layer 3 switches to run HRSP. I've run it with a 3750 and a 3560, but those are both layer 3.Hope that helps.

I had the exact same issue and was unable to solve it with any work-around,, so I had to go back to Win 7 or use virtual Win 7 with VMWare. I went back to Win 7
