You can use the command ip forward-protocol udp 4040 to forward udp port 4040 and if that is what your multicast application is looking for.HTH

I have IP Cef enabled in the router. it is only a 2610XM and I think I will go with the default routes, I don't want put any load on the router by doing policy routing. If ip cef can do the job. I am happy. Thanks for your help.Kaiser

we have different floors and more then twenty switches. so wouldn' t vlan maps someshow can do the job or is it just not possible with Vlan maps. ThanksKaiser A
