Correct Fuse for ASA 5550 on DC Power

We have an ASA 5550 on DC Power.  The manufacturers label on this unit recommends a 2.5 amp fuse.  We have had a 3 amp installed actually but it has blown out twice since Nov '16.   However two documents I have found on these units seem to imply 10-1...
