Only draw back is Cisco TAC and S/W updates/upgrades.

Actually we have 6x 5508-500 coupled with 6x 5508-HA (1+1)
They don't have Cisco support and we want to purchase spare part instead.
Apart from not having Cisco TAC and S/W upgrades ... what is the best option?
