Seems that the attention on this topic is still low and currently not on the roadmap.
As Catalyst Center is now part of the catalyst BU why Cisco PM should invest in IPAM integration which will not sell more boxes.
I'd addressed this topic to many BU and PM leads. They are not aware about this limitation. Up to now this topic is not on the roadmap and still only documented as aha.
So please address this topic as well to you cisco contact to prio this topic.

the new releases should be available soon / mid April. Lets see what ISSU capability changes the new releases provides. The ISSU limitation is only for SDA enabled devices which was from the beginning.

Running SW 2.3.5.4 the ISSU feature is still disabled for WLC HA integrated in SDA fabric.
Which SW version have you checked for WLC HA ISSU support ?
