My first hunch is that this sounds like a NAT related issue but would need to see your ASA config to confirm. Can you share a 'show run' output?

Have you tried the Cisco Network Assistant? I realize its an older tool but I believe it has the features you are looking for. I use Manage Engine OpManager. The price is fair however its feature rich so it might be too much for what you are looking ...

I removed the config line 'channel width 40-above' and so far the problem has not re-occurred. Thanks for the help!
