This question relates to a network of 9130 APs, managed by a 9800 WLC. I'm trying to reduce the number of SSIDs being used in the network. One of the reasons for having so many SSIDs is that there are several communities of wireless IoT devices that...
I'm investigating an issue with a newish installation: 9130APs in RTLS-density deployment running on an HA pair of 9300 controllers.17.3.5a software. The 5GHz looks fine, but on performing an Ekahau survey it became apparent that the 2.5GHz was not. ...
I hope this is a simple question, just a matter of (hopefully) confirming what I have gathered from documentation: If I'm migrating a L2 network to L3, I will need to put L3 interfaces on my core switch, and I'm going to need a transit L3 link betwee...
I have to re-engineer a Meraki network that is running as a flat VLAN on VLAN 1. I want to introduce a number of VLANs so that I can allocate different users/devices to different VLANs to allow me to better secure the devices environment. Straight-f...

The IoT devices have no 802.1x supplicant, but lets assume they could handle iPSK. Can the ISE do VLAN steering based upon each different user/group's PSK? If that were possible, that could be a simple solutionThanksJim
It's getting stranger....we disabled FRA and the 2.4GHz APs stayed in monitor mode, even after resets. We are going to raise a TAC. Will advise of the outcome
Thanks for your comments Rasika. However, it seems very odd that FRA, with which I am very familiar, would chose to shut down nearly ALL 2.4GHz radios and leave areas unserved. The areas affected are too far away from operational 2.4GHz radios to hav...
@BRUCE NEWTONis the reason for your suggestion of a single link (configured as a trunk) rather than a dual link (one link as transit VLAN, the other as L2 Management) purely down to port economy, or something else?
