Hi! EOL for the UC320W ? - Cooool! I just bought a bunch of those for our Students (CCNA Lab) as nice addon for the ccna stuff. I also run from ISP to ISP to finally get a bunch of telefon-numbers with special abilities for free. Now you TRASH it?? Thus: the question - if cisco is nuts or not - is obviously the wrong one. Cisco not only trashes uc320 but also forces me to use trixbox or something alike! Good job! Oh! Did I mention that I sold some of those to customers? I go and tell them: "hey, your uc320 is 6 month of age, you should sell it for its iron-weight-price now, cuz ist through!" Ha! Nice! Hi there! I just tested this: uc320 can be penetrated with faked icmp entries in the NAT table, which can be triggered at any time from the internet to enter the LAN behind it. Thus, a virus can set up the faked NAT entries from "local inside", and a virus-controller can enter the LAN by triggering those false NAT-entries at "global inside" from "global outside". Are there any plans to fix this? regards, Roland

Hi! I use the UC320W with an procurve (2610), and it works great! I have a vlan-trunk from the uc320 to the 2610, and there i connected my phones to untagged vlan-100 ports. As i mentioned: it works great And: I can not agree to Chris` (sorry, no offense meant) claim regarding CDP: my procurve can see ALL cisco neighbours, but my 2960's dont see my procurve. So i use LLDP on both types of switches. Regards, Roland

Hi! I have here a UC320 and a SPA525g2. I can enter a SIP-Address into the private phone-book. But it seems implossible to call it. For example: sip: XYZ@ekiga.net is not reachable. From the other end ekiga -> uc320 it is also impossible. When i enter my full qualified sip-address into the ekiga phone it simply says: "Security check failed" Whats most likely the problem? Thanks!
