I had to replace one of my client's UC560 phone systems with my spare one. The old system still boots, but I cannot move the license off of it - it just hangs after I put in my Cisco ID and password. My spare one does not have enough licenses on it, ...
I have a client that just went from a big-brother system (Cisco Call-Manager) to a UC560. Now most of the stuff that the big brother does can be replicated on the UC560. One of the features they had on big-brother was "calling party transformation" o...
We need to connect two UC560 phone systems over a VPN tunnel built by two ASA5505's. Now I have done this successfully using a VPN tunnel built by the UC560's themselves, but never with a VPN built by ASA's. I need folks on UC560#1 at building#1 to 3...
I have had some issues with phones restarting themselves on a UC560 (8.6.1). Firmware updating the SPA handsets helped alot and I have a single 7962 receptionist phone left to do. It has firmware 9.1.1. The 8.6.2 software pack shows this same version...
What is the secret to MOH sounding good on the cell phone? We have tried the built-in MOH file, tried uploading an MP3 via OfficeManager, and plugged in Muzack via the external port. All sounds good internally, all sound terrible on a cell phone. I h...

Good luck!

Just a followup - I got this working without much trouble. Strictly a CLI config, works great. I can pass calls back and forth between the two systems, including paging and blast groups. My setup also included (by choice), changing the default voice ...
Haven't had an issue with the UC560 and the 8.6.1 software pack. I have one client that parks calls all day long. I did setup a ring back after 60 seconds so people aren't lost in park. Perhaps that is something you can try.
You can go to any handset and call-forward it to a cell phone anytime. You may also want to google Cisco's Single Number Reach. That solution is pretty neat.Once you've split the lines between the two companies, then you could have all the lines a...
