Ridiculous numbers showing in Cat4500e interface packet counters

I have a Cat 4506e stack (two Chassis), and I'm finding that some interfaces are reporting nonsensical, fast-increasing byte counters: GigabitEthernet1/2/43 is up, line protocol is up (connected) Hardware is Gigabit Ethernet Port, address is 002...
