ok, thnx for the feedback, did a Route-based VTI method, added a Static Route to the Remote-inside(protected)network segments , to use the VTI interface. and now not even getting the Tunnel to establish , pings / events aren't showing that traffic ...

so Jason Maynard ( @jasonmaynard8773 ) has a site on YouTube , where he's done a super-great illustration of many of these features in a NetOps / SecOps context.... quite great quality, imho.
