Hello, I have several Catalyst 6824 devices, that show up in Inventory as managed, but device type is "Unsupported Cisco Device" - TAC case has been open since 9/2/16 on this issue - also just loaded DP4 this morning but didn't help. Anyone out there...
We are on 3.4.1 -- Device pack 7 fixed the issue and now our standalone 6824s are fully supported. ~26 months since my original post here and multiple TAC cases, but it's better late than never!

Yes, that's kinda strange. It could be a bug in the version you're running - you might consider updating to 3.1.5 - or check release notes and the bug search tool to find out if this was specifically addressed.
