Hi, I have a strange issue.MX85 as a security appliance, also provides dhcp on a few vlans.my main laptop on vlan 1 can generally see devices on other vlans.I’ve plugged a smart device into a switch port that has a pvid of vlan 2.if the device is set...
I have a RV320 and have set up Some Vlans.
Vlan 1 is untagged on all ports, and all other vlans are Tagged on each port.
From Wireless Access Points connected, I can connect to each ssid and each one provides the appropriate DHCP (i.e. 192.168.1....
Yes, it’s running dhcp for all vlans.they’re Engenius Switches, but no layer 3 functions.not on site for a few weeks, so can’t do any physical changes to test.
I’m on 14.53. Not beta testing or anything.I just connect to my static ipv4 address…. But this would always bomb out with a “client error” as the client always had a ipv6 address and the mix would refuse connection…. But now it works!!!! I’m Happy!
Errrrmmm…. I could be wrong, but I just randomly, out of the blue, tried my vpn to my MX using EE (who provide ipv6) and it WORKED!!!! So, it looks like things are on their way to an actual useable service!
