I've used Cisco LRM SFP's with MMF and SMF. today I noticed the c9200 supports the LRM SFP but is states MMF and not SMF. will SMF work with a c9200 and LRM SFP onver SMF?

you've likely already got a RMA switch but I wanted to mention that my client had this on the 24 and 48 port 2960X switches, they didn't have smartnet either but we got 6 switches replaced with the lifetime warranty and none of the replacement switch...

Have you tried mode-conditioning patch cables on each end?
