I think you're correct. This could be a cable issue, eventhough it works on an IP Pabx the pins could be incorrect when it's plugged in. I will send the pin configs to the cablers. Thanks for your input

it's a UTP cable from the Telcom. I had 75 ohms out but the Telco asked me to add it. I took it off and same issue. thanks.

not sure what you mean? it does show the E1 is down. Mind you I have done quite a few T1s and E1s in my career. I am looking for someone who may have had the same issue in Nairobi and was able to fix it by either changing the model of the E1 card or ...
