I'm setting up a 3030 running 3.6.1 OS and I'm having a problem with the connection. I have a PC setup on the same segment as the Public interface and I can login, authenticate (locally), and receive and IP address from the concentrator. The issue ...
I have a unique issue that I ran into and I can't figure out what is happening.I have a hub router with multiple frame pvc's over a single DS-3. At the remote ends I have a mix of 1602, 1720's and 2611's. They are all pretty much configured the sam...
I setup a VPN cluster between two 3005 and everything seems to be working correctly, but I can not ping the IP address that I assigned to the cluster. I'm not sure if I will be able to ping this address or if it will only respond to the client tryin...
I have been trying to find any reference that states if there is a limitation or a design recommendation on how many bgp peers a single router should have. I know that for OSPF the recommendation is 50-60 neighbors, and for EIGRP it is around 40. I...

I had a co-worker setup a 3002 at his house with an IP phone running over ADSL and he said it worked great.I have also setup pix-to-pix VPN with IP phones at remote locations connecting back to a headquarters office. Granted that these locations wer...
The only problem is that these links go to different locations, and I'm not sure if UUNET will be want to configure EIGRP on these links. They don't want to do any load balancing because they don't want traffic to flow across the Shadow DS-3 unless ...
I spoke with one of the engineers at Networkers this week and he advised that they were not going to merge the two versions. I was told by TAC that they would, but he pretty much assured me that they were not. He also recommended running each versio...
