hi..I have a 3560 in the network and when extracting device info (DEE) I do not get chassis informations of this device..like serial number, name and so on!what is the problem here?MIB problem?
CW is using a DB to store information. I know it stores all device information in there but does it also store all configuration data in the DB too?THX for help

thx for the help!the problem is here that I try to enhance the CW Server to distribute it and build up a hierachy. Because the company network is greater than the number of devices CW can handle.
hidoes that mean the always the files from the shadow directory are downloaded..or is this dependen on the version. Which is the retrievable trough the DB?marc
thx for the answer. It helped me very much!But when I know want to change the device configuration manually (without CW). changing the files with a program in [install dir]\CSCOpx\files\archive\shadow does CW when downloading the files take the files...
