Another method we employ is to create a DNS entry to point yahoo.com, webshots.com, etc at our intranet server. We also have a strict internet usage policy that allows us to be "big brother"
if your internal dns is on the same subnet as your dhcp scope, you caould point the dhcpd at the internal dns server instead of an external one. And if your DNS server is set up properly it will query a root dns server when it does not find an entry ...
