Hi all,Our site is running a MDS switch combination of 9216's and 9120's with 3.1(1) firmware. I have just received some new gear to replace the 9216's, two 9222i's and two 9216a's and would like to upgrade the firmware on my whole fleet. What too? ...
Hi all,Anyone out there still using the MDS9120's with the known Cisco Bug CSCeg75552 (EXT3-fs filesystem problem due to transient CompactFlash failure)?
Hi all,Can anyone tell me the list of variables created by a MDS9000 switch by default? So far I have found:$(SWITCHNAME)$(TIMESTAMP)What else is there?Sid

Interesting, I didn't know the 9506's had the same problem. I was able to get my 9216's replaced with 9216A's, which don't have the problem, so I'm told.
Hi all,I would just like to add I had the same problem with ESX and iSCSI using a MDS 9216. The ESX server logged in each time then logged it's self out, I never resolved the problem. Put it down to cisco's way of doing iSCSI as every other iSCSI dev...
