I am interested in finding out, if I have a tunneled in (established IPSec connection via remote VPN) and then what happens if external interface becomes unavailable? Do I still maintain connection, if I my tunneled gateway is on internal interface?

Today our VPN 3030 were slammed as everybody were working from home. What was strange that, most people connecting IPSec over UDP were complaining about slowness but all other IPSec over TCP were fine. Any idea why this would be the case?
