I think I remember reading that only Sun Solaris is supported for ASDM. If anyone finds out differently please post, as I am a big Ubuntu fan and would like to start using the newest version 8.10 distro for some network management.

I'm a big fan of the Kiwi syslog product and have been using it in production for almost 2 years. You can also try it for free!It is highly configurable and has some nice options, especially in the registered/paid version.
